When you purchase a motor vehicle from us, we (the Dealer) act as one of the “controllers” of your personal data under data protection law.

• Enter into a contract with you to sell or purchase a motor vehicle (including trade-ins).
• Fulfil the terms of that contract, which requires you to provide the personal details requested on this form (except for an email address). Without these details, we may not be able to complete the contract — for example, we wouldn’t be able to notify you when your vehicle is ready.

We may also use your information for:

• Direct marketing: To tell you about products or services that may interest you, or to carry out customer satisfaction surveys — unless you object. This may include analysing your suitability for trade-ins or upgrades, possibly using finance details (with your or your finance provider’s permission). • Vehicle registration and tax purposes: When you buy a new vehicle, we use your details to register it with the Revenue Commissioners to pay any VRT/VAT, or apply for exemptions where applicable.

• Business operations: Managing our day-to-day operations, including accounting and fraud prevention. Our legal basis here is legitimate interest — ensuring effective business management.

• Vehicle Manufacturer & Distributor: For warranty, safety, recall, and customer satisfaction purposes. With your consent, they may also use your information for marketing. They may contact you directly about their own data use.
• Revenue Commissioners: For vehicle registration and any applicable VRT/VAT/motor tax exemptions.
• Service Providers: Third parties acting on our behalf (accountants, IT providers, printers, lawyers, marketing companies, security, and administration services).
• Business Transactions: If we merge with or are acquired by another company.
• Law Enforcement & Government Bodies: If required by law.

Your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Some countries do not offer the same level of data protection.
